Pink Stripes
A Green Engagement
A fondant engagement cake for Aida's sister. I was merely following orders for the theme of the engagement which was green.
At first I wanted to do a white base with green flowers but I couldn't find any green sugar flowers being sold at the bakery stores. So, I resorted in doing the reverse - green base with white sugar flowers. At least, the flowers stand out, don't they? I don't do my own sugar flowers due to the fact that I'm still incompetent and still a beginner in modeling sugar flowers. Plus, it's still more cost-effective to buy them rather than do them myself.
I still have a long way to go on decorating with fondant. I seriously need to attend classes. Aida, please accept my apologies for any shortcomings on the cake ya.

Taz the Devil
Ordered by KS, a repeat customer for her son, Akmal's first birthday. It was either a frightening looking dinosaur or a devilish looking Taz, hence I opted for the latter.
Thanks for ordering ya! I hope the little man likes his cake.

Hey Jojo, What Do You Say?
Ordered by dearest friend and neighbor, MummyChomel for her daughter, Myra, who celebrated her 4th birthday at school. I had fun decorating this cake as I was humming away Jojo's song from start till finish. Now the song is stuck in me, doing a death loop even while I sleep.
Thanks for the order MC dear! I'm soooo glad that Myra and her friends loved the cake. Do come back for more ya!!

The Purple Cute Dinosaur
After a series of text messages going back and forth, the owner of the cake came to my house to pickup her cake. Lo and behold.... she turned out to be my junior from SSP. See, I told you that this cake business is turning out to be a segment of Jejak Kasih hihihi...
Thank you very much Syareena for the order. Hope your kids liked it and wasn't turned off by the not so purple dinosaur. I tried to get the right tint but on camera, it didn't turn out well enough. Oh well...

Spiderman
One of the good thing that crop up from my sojourn into this small business of mine is that I get to make lots of new friends. The other good thing is getting orders from old friends whom I have not seen for more than a decade. This order was one of them.
It's from Shima, a long-lost friend whom I had the opportunity to get to know during our sponsor's induction course. Out of the blue, she called and asked for a spiderman birthday cake for her son.
It was really good meeting you again Shima after all these years. I hope our short chat managed to lift a heavy burden off your chest.

Hello 2008!
I apologize for the lack of updates. Not that I don't want to, but I have been pretty tied up with cake projects one after another. My customers sure have a knack of testing my abilities to the limit eh?! (in a good way, of course :) )
However, never fear because I'm back... with a vengeance. Before I forget, I'd like to wish everyone a very happy New Year. May all of us be blessed with prosperity, peace and harmony.
Now, to business. I present you my latest work that I've been diligently doing but slacking in updating. Enjoy...

Another Thomas and this time it's for a girl named Aishah. Her kind aunt, Jjay ordered it for her.

A purple-themed hantaran carrot cake for my brother-in-law's wedding.
An American Chocolate Cake ordered by Sianry for her darling daughter Belle. I was singing Jojo's song while drawing this cake. Hihihi... kept me up and inspired.
An American Fudge Brownie ordered by my neighbor, Dr. Shima for her son Najmi. Spidey to the rescue!
A Winnie the Pooh Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Topping
An ultraman American Chocolate Cake ordered by Matun for her son Aiman. It turns out that her husband was my ex-classmate back in PPP/ADP. Small world indeed!
Zareef's Bumblebee Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Topping. His birthday fell on the 1st of Syawal. Perfect timing to celebrate.
A Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Topping made for my biras when we came a-calling during their engagement.
Another Spongebob. He sure is popular among the kids, kan?
An American Chocolate Birthday Cake for Llah's mom.
Zareef's birthday cake, again! This time it was for the party held at home. Underneath Robin of Teen Titan lies an American Fudge Brownie.
Zara's first birthday cake. Zareef chose the picture for her. His reason; Zara loves Elmo. So I thought, why not? Brother knows best, aight?! Ohh.. her cake was a carrot cake with cream cheese topping.
Mdm Nong ordered this Cinderella cake for her daughter's 4th birthday. Please forgive Cinderella's face. It was too small to be drawn perfectly hence the rather distorted and pugly face.
Girl Power! Specially ordered by Khairolin for her daughter
Thomas for Adam, Anom's son
Red Power Ranger for Hanis, ordered by her sister Dr. Shima. Hihihi... never knew that a 22 year old would still be a fan of a Power Ranger. Oh well, whatever rocks your boat, dear.
